This is great! I often sit down to look at what people have listed recently on Folksy to get inspiration before I start creating. The magazine is a great idea and this clip is brilliant!
xx
What a great list! I love the visuals, too
)
I would add ‘Play/Experiment’ and ‘Don’t feel everything you make has to be a finished product’.
Great video! Thanks for posting.
Brilliant short video, I already do some of the tips they suggest but now have a few more ideas. Made me laugh which is always a great start.
Thank you.
Wow, I really enjoyed this video and related to alot of it! Thanks
Great clip, I often think to myself how I can be more creative.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Brilliant and so sensible and obvious but you just get stuck in the mire, I’ll keep it and watch it again and again but maybe I won’t need to!!
There are some really helpful tips some of which i already use as i often get what i call creaters block , i have also found taking the dog for a walk in the forest helps to get the creative juices flowing again, all of a sudden an idea will pop into my head and i can’t wait to get back home and get creative.
Feeling very down and wondering why i do what i do. Just read this and relised why i do what i do!!
I LOVE WHAT I DO
I just have these days.
I heard a quote from the potter Bernard Leach the other day and he said, ‘If you don’t love what you do then how are other people suppose to?’ I think being authentic to yourself is the key.
Wishing everyone a really creative and happy day today.
Agree with all of it, especially tidying the workspace when you grudge the time spent on it – this makes you appreciate the time you do have to spend on creating, not to mention finding all the inspiring bits and pieces you did nothing with and sudenly everything is all there to have a go at.
p.s. Love the animation, will make me start with a smile.
